Quick Update

A couple of people have been wondering why I've been commenting and faving less the last month or so, so I figured I'd explain it here and save myself having to explain it several times. Quick and simple answer is that middle of last month, I had a heart attack. Yeah I know, I'm very young to have one, LOL I heard that a lot while they were trying to fix things. Also found out I had diabetes and high blood pressure which definately didn't help things.
LOL I was not having a good week!
Ended up I spent a week in the hospital while they got things under control and put a stent(wire mesh tube thingy) in to open up the artery that had gotten blocked. Not a totally unpleasant process, but not something I recommend needing done either. In my case, they went in through the wrist which was much preferable to the other way they do it, which is through the groin. I was mostly out of it while they did everything, but, at least i have a vague memory of having seen heart on the monitor, so I finally have an argument for those people who say I'm heartless. I've seen it
All of this has required I make a bunch of changes in my life, most of which I'm still getting used to. First change, was I had to quit smoking. LOL didn't exactly make me happy to have to do that, but, so far it's been going well. I get the occasional Want but otherwise I'm fine. Second was having to take a lot of medication, so not a fun thing to do, but thankfully I got lucky and for now at least, no insulin shots, just pills. One of the largest changes is a massive change in how I eat. LOL I had to get rid of a Lot of stuff, mostly juice that I couldn't have anymore. I've been having to buy all new healthier food. Good lord, they make it expensive to come anywhere close to what you're supposed to eat. Talk about tempting you to go back to eating junk!
I've been doing ok since I got home, I get the occasional twinge warning me that I'm not healed yet and to take it easy(not that I listen), but otherwise I'm doing pretty good. Currently I'm playing around with a few design ideas to see what I want to work on to give me something to do. If anyone has requests you'd like me to consider for freestuff, or has a custom model they'd like to commission for themselves or a set you want to sell, or you want to make a donation, please, do let me know. I could definately use it these days.

*Looks around and sneezes at all the dust* Wow, it's definately been a while. Housekeeping..gotta call housekeeping...
First things first, thank you so much to hamstergrl for the three month sub! It was the perfect day to recieve it
It's been interesting the last while that's for certain. That ancient chinese curse definition comes to mind. Hasn't been all bad, but there's definately been enough. Medical issues, hardware failure, bank screwups...like I said, interesting. But that which does not kill me right?
But on the positive side, I am running a new dual core machine now, actual ram and power! Mwahahaha! Ummm *looks around innocently*...ahem. As I was saying, got the new system running, and am using windows 7 x64 now. I rather like it now that I've had some time to get used to it, though some things such as having to approve Everything, can get tiresome. Am also running DS3A now, got it during the sale last month. Can definately tell the difference between the 32 and 64 bit versions. Though I am going to have to pull my copy of ds2 off of backup drive. Unfortunately, not all the tools I use when I'm designing are supported in ds3. But at least that is a minor issue
I do have a couple of sets in the works, when they'll be released I have no idea yet. I'm still getting back into the hang of it and figuring out exactly what I want to do
